Luckybite and WDOwen win at BBC Innovation Labs

11 April 2006

Luckybite, working with William Owen, was one of three companies at the 2006 BBC Innovation Labs in London to be awarded future funding by the BBC to develop ideas for interactive broadband content delivery. Luckybite was one of 10 companies taking part, selected from an original shortlist of 130. Luckybite and WDOwen will now go forward to develop physical and software interaction prototypes and ideas for delivering Childrens' BBC content over broadband internet. The proposal is part of the BBC's recently announced Creative Futures strategy that moves beyond broadcast to integrated digital media platforms for web, TV and radio content. Luckybite is a product design and innovation company founded by Tom Hulbert and Durrell Bishop.
