William Owen

William has over 17 years' experience as a consultant in customer communications and service design. Since 1997 he has focused on integrating brand and digital service strategies for life service providers and telcos, manufacturers, asset managers and investment banks as well as advising first- and second-stage internet start-ups.

As head of consulting at Metadesign London and later as head of brand strategy at internet consulting company Quidnunc, William devised a suite of tools for modelling product and service futures, mapping customer interactions, establishing strategic direction at board level and translating business requirements into detailed design specifications and information architectures.

The strength of this approach has been its ability to move from strategy into design detail, by building the understanding, agreement and commitment to enable a business to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
